Coast Family Mediation
Creating Amicable Solutions for your Family
What We Do:
Coast Family Mediation is a Cork (Ireland) based fully accredited mediation practice which offers services both across Ireland and globally through in person and online platforms. We specialise in resolving conflicts through expert guidance and best practice strategies.
Navigating family challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. At Coast Family Mediation, we provide a safe, supportive space to help you resolve disputes and find common ground so that life can move on.
Whether you're dealing with separation, divorce, co-parenting conflicts, inheritance disputes or communication breakdowns, family mediation offers a constructive way forward, without the stress of ongoing disputes and potential court battles.
What is Mediation:
Mediation is a way for families to solve conflicts with the help of a neutral person, called a mediator. The mediator doesn't take sides or make decisions for the people involved. Instead, it helps the parties talk to each other, understand each other's views, and work together to find a solution everyone can agree on. It's like having a guide to help you communicate better and reach a fair agreement that takes into account everyone's wishes and needs.
Mediation has several benefits:
- Faster – It takes less time than going to Court.
- Cheaper – It's much less expensive than engaging in Legal Proceedings.
- Less Stressful – It's more peaceful and cooperative, avoiding the conflict of a Court case.
- Private – What happens in mediation remains confidential, unlike court cases where information in some cases can be made public.
- More Control – The people involved get to decide the outcome, instead of a judge making the decision.
- Better Relationships – Mediation encourages understanding, which can help preserve or improve relationships.
- Flexible Solutions – The agreements can be more creative and tailored to what everyone needs.
